One half of the Stanley Cup Final is set, with the Florida Panthers clinching a return trip on Saturday night.
The Edmonton Oilers are in position to become the second team on Sunday night.
The Oilers lead the Dallas Stars three games to two and will try to wrap up the Western Conference final at home. The Stars will try to force a Game 7, which would be played on Tuesday night.
The Stanley Cup Final begins on Saturday.
Edmonton has won the last two games and is more than a powerful offense led by Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard.
The Oilers have honed their defensive game. Their penalty kill has been perfect the last nine games and they limited the Stars to 10 shots over the first two periods of Game 5.
